Enjoy an intimate Sunday afternoon concert with the internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Arsentiy Kharitonov. Hailing from St. Petersburg, Kharitonov has achieved fame and accolades for his “sumptuous tone, technical mastery, broad dramatic range, and elegant phrasing” (Fanfare Magazine). A first-prize winner of the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition and a winner of the Rachmaninov Competition in the Russian Federation, he has performed in the major concert halls throughout Europe and America. Program will include works by Schumann, Franck, Kharitonov, and Rachmaninoff.
